Titans and Mustangs defeat Trojans

The Trojans volleyball team started the 2017 season not so good, as they were defeated by the Towner/Granville/Upham Titans in their home opener, 3-1. In addition, the team was defeated by the Surrey Mustangs earlier in the week, 3-0.
The Trojans will host the Bulldogs from Flasher Sept 7 for the first region match of the season.
The Trojans stayed close to begin with the first set because of errors on the Titans.
A kill from Brooke Goven midway through the set kept the Trojans within striking distance at 15-11 but a kill from the Titans Allison Cross and an ace from Emma Dragseth stretched the Titans lead to 18-11.
