Sports Co-op waits NDHSAA approval

The new sports cooperative team formed with the three schools, Underwood, Turtle Lake-Mercer and McClusky will be called Central McLean,
with the Cougars as the team mascot and blue and orange as team colors. Underwood will provide the fiscal agent for the co-op and the fiscal agent fee for that
person’s time and stipend is $2,400.
Team practices will be shared equally between TLM and Underwood for football, basketball and volleyball, with volleyball delayed one year to start because of the filing
deadline requirements. McClusky will provide back-up gym space for these sports and softball in inclement weather.
Track and golf practices will be in Underwood and baseball in Turtle Lake.
