Miners, Lions trip Trojans

The Trojans did not do so well this past week as the Wilton/Wing Miners took both games of a double header district match up and the boys were defeated by the Minot Bishop Ryan Lions on a last-second shot.
The girls slipped to 0-6 in district play and 2-11 overall after the defeat at the hands of the Miners. The Miners raised their district record to 4-2 and 13-5 overall.
The District 10 tournament is in Garrison Feb. 9, 10 and 11. The girls will play Garrison the second game Feb. 9. Underwood seeded number one received a bye, other action will see Center/Stanton playing Washburn and Wilton/Wing plays Max.
Against the Miners Tuesday night, the girls spotted the Miners sixteen points before a Brooke Goven bucket just before the end of the quarter.
