Miners down Trojans 30-14
Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans JH girls basketball hosted a game with Wilton-Wing Miners at McClusky on Thursday afternoon. The Miners defeated the Trojans, 30-14.
In first quarter, Trojans did not earn any points as the Miners led 6-0.
In the second quarter, Trojans added six points with Grace Goven’s four points and Lindsey Abrahamson’s two points. The Miners also led in this quarter. 18-6.
In the third quarter, only four points were added for the Trojans: Daphne Lauer and Jolynne Strobel scored two points each. The Miners were ahead again, 24-10.
In fourth quarter, Grace Goven added four more points, but the Miners won the game, 30-14.
