Last Tuesday night, Oct 15, the Trojans were tied for first place but a 3-2 loss to the Wil-ton/Wing Miners and a 3-1 loss to the Underwood Comets on Monday night put the Trojans as the third seed for the upcoming District 10 tournament. Underwood will be the first seed and Wilton/Wing the second. Center/Stanton is the fourth seed, Washburn fifth and Garrison/Max sixth.

The Trojans have just two matches left in the regular season. Oct. 28 the girls are on the bus to Standing Rock for a B and C Squads match and last match is at home with Flasher Nov. 1.

The District 10 tournament starts Nov. 4 and continues Nov 5 and 7 in Underwood.

Heidi Clausen led the Miners with 33 kills which is a school record, 8 blocks and 3 aces.

A kill from Haley Zinke got the Trojans on the scoreboard first in the first set but the Trojans fell behind 4-1.

A long serve and a long kill and lift on the Miners tied the set at 4.

A tip by Mariah Sellon, then a kill from Katelynn Presser and an ace from Haley Zinke, put the Trojans up 12-6.

The Trojans extended their lead to 16-8 after a pair of kills from Presser and an ace from Madison Kurle.

The Trojans then gave up points on a couple of no returns and a serve in the net to put the score at 18-14.
