McClusky Sportsman’s Club Fishing Derby results

The McClusky Sportsman’s Club Fishing Derby was held at South Hoffer Lake on Father’s Day, June 17.
Thirty one people entered the fishing contest and submitted 35 fish for weigh-in. The fish were weighed in and measured by Darrell Bertsch and Tina Bertsch.
Among these fish were 10 walleye, 11 pike, 12 perch, and two bass.
Winners in the Derby were:
Walleye: First Place- Earl Heitzman, 2lb 5oz - 181/2 inches; Second Place- Earl Heitzman, 1lb 15 oz - 17 3/4 inches; and Third Place- Earl Heitzman, 1 lb 10 oz - 16 1/2 inches.
Pike: First Place- Mike Zinke, 3lb 3 oz - 24 1/4 inches; Second Place-Doug Erdmann 3 lb - 23 inches; Third Place-Bryon Belile, 2lb 15 oz - 24 inches.
Perch: First Place - Mike Davis, 10 oz - 10 1/2 inches;
