The Sheridan County track team traveled to Minot on March 31 at the Minot State College dome.
The results are as follow:
Varsity Boys: high jump: Kevin Miller 6’ 2”, first place; 800-meter run: Kyle Heim, 02:12.1, fifth place; long jump: Kevin Miller, 19’ 6”, third place, Chance Faul, 18’ 0.25”, sixth place, Dorian Rohweller, 17’ 11.75”, seventh place; 55-meter dash: Dorian Rohweller, 7.25, sixth place; 200-meter dash: Kevin Miller, 24.75, second place, Kyle Heim, 25.43, third place, Dorian Rohweller, 26.45, fifth place; Andrew Rott, 27.39, eighth place; triple jump: Kevin Miller, 42’ 9.5”, first place, Chance Faul, 35’ 5”, eighth place; 400-meter dash: Kyle Heim, 00:56.0, second place, Andrew Rott, 01:00.7, third place; team score, 72, third place.
Varsity Girls: high jump: Kari Weninger, 4’ 4”, third place; 800-meter run: Adrienne Martwick, 02:39.3, third place, Kaya Engen, 03:02.1, seventh place, Kari Weninger, 03:05.0, eighth place; 1600-meter relay: 05:11.9, fifth place; shot put: Abigail Martwick, 29’ 8”, seventh place; 400-meter dash: Kaya Engen, 01:11.3, third place; team scores, 27, fifth place.
Sophomore boys: triple jump: Cody Crimmins, 25’ 10”, fourth place; shot put: Taylor Deseth, 33’ 7”, sixth place; team scores, 8, sixth place.
