Local bull rider ends on a high note

Carson Houser is the 2017 Co-Reserve Champion Jr. Bull Rider in the Roughrider Rodeo Association. He was in first place all summer despite missing all of July due to an injury.
After having rough finals, he slipped to second place. Then, at the finals in Jamestown, he was selected to win the Lewis Field Memorial Sportsmanship Award. The executive committee selects one boy and one girl from all of the junior contestants to honor for this award.
