Last Coyote Volleyball Game
Last Coyote Volleyball Game

“It was not only hard because it was the last home volleyball game on Oct. 16 for the five senior girls, but it was also hard for everyone because it was the last Coyote volleyball home game ever.
After Friday night, there will be no more Coyote volleyball games played in that gym.
“I’m not sure how to feel about it, but all I feel now is sadness. The Coyote tradition has been going on since 1989 and is ending this year in 2009. Exactly 20 years. Having played for the Coyotes for six years, makes it even more sentimental and even a little more difficult to handle.
“The girls played very well on Friday night against the first seed in the District and the un-defeated Turtle Lake-Mercer Trojans. The first two sets, the girls played very well. They played together and they played with determination.
“The SCC girls played with a lot of heart, but didn’t get the win. The girls lost their last home game in 3, but it was a tough, close 3 sets. Overall, it was a great match for the girls. To know that they can keep up and possibly beat tough teams in the future. It was a good feeling.
“I want to thank the parents and all the family members of the volleyball girls for everything they have done for us this season. Everyone has been great and it was awesome to see the McClusky gym packed full Friday night. The fans have been great, I just want to Thank everyone for such a great regular season. I hope to see everyone follow us to the District Tournament, November 2nd, 3rd and 5th in Turtle-Lake.
“Thanks again to everyone! It was a great season, but we are not done yet! Let’s Go Coyotes!!”
