Jacobs Region 5 top Senior

Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky Trojans’ 6’ 2” forward Trapper Jacobs received the 2019 Region 5 Senior Athlete award Thursday night at the conclusion of the Region 5 Tournament in Bismarck.
Jacobs will move on to the Senior Athlete state competition against the other seven-region competitors at the State B tournament in Minot March 16.
Jacobs averaged 25.14 points per game; grabbed 11 rebounds per game; and averaged three assists, 1.5 steals, and one blocked shot in the 2018-19 season..
Jacobs connected on 48% of his field goals and was 76% from the free-throw line.
