Girls win one/lose one

The girls were on the road last week and picked up a 28-23 win at New Salem/Almont Friday night but lost, 35-28, at Strasburg/Zeeland Thursday night.
The next three games are district doubleheader games. They are at home with Garrison Jan.14; at home with Underwood Jan. 21; and at Washburn on Jan. 23.
Ashley Bergquist was the Trojans team’s leading scorer against the Clippers from Strasburg/Zeeland with 11 points. Bergquist scored 7 of her 11 points in the third quarter as the Trojans outscored the Clippers, 11-6, and went from trailing 17-14 at halftime to leading 25-23 at the end of three.
