Girls finish regular season 12 and 7

The Trojans finished their regular season this past week with one win and two losses to make a 12-win and 7-loss season.
The Trojans lost to sixth-ranked (17 and 1) Minot Ryan 75-39 on Tuesday night; then Friday night, the Trojans defeated Drake/Anamoose 76-58. On Saturday afternoon the Trojans fell to Shiloh Christian 58-39.
The Trojans received a first round bye in the District 10 tournament and will play the winner of the Wilton/Wing and Garrison game Feb. 25 at 7:30 pm at Underwood.
Trojans 39-Lions 75
Jacy Hausauer was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 12 points. Haley Zinke was also in double figures with 10.
Anika Rovig was the leading scorer for the Lions with 20 points.
Jacy Hausauer got the Tro-jans on the score board first at the 6:54 mark with a short jumper but that was answered by the Lions with 17 straight points to end the first quarter in front 17-2.
The Trojans still had trouble in the scoring department the second quarter, falling behind 23-2.
The Trojans put together an 8-0 run with Chloe Bayless scoring in the paint and Haley Zinke and Taylor Fylling put down triples to cut the Lions’ lead to 23-10.
Zinke poured in two more triples before the end of the first half but the Trojans trailed at the half, 34-16.
