Tatum Fylling was chosen for the 2014 All Region 5 Team. Fylling is a five foot ten inch junior middle hitter for the Trojans. Other members of the team Paige Hausauer-Wilton/Wing, Tristen Henke- Center/Stanton, Krista Ulmer- Shiloh Christian, Sydney Bentz- Grant County, Abby Hulm-New Salem/Almont, Rachel Vitek- Center/Stanton, Tiffany Friesz-Flasher, Allison Mirschel- Shiloh Christian and Lindsey Duben- Underwood.
Sydney Bentz from Grant County is the 2014 Region 5 Senior Athlete of the year and Janet Erhardt from Center/Stanton is the 2014 Region 5 Coach of the Year.
The Flasher Bulldogs defeated the Trojans in the first match of the Region 5 tournaments, 3-1.
Katelynn Presser led the Trojans in kills with nine; Kylee Reiser followed with eight. Zoe Smalls handed out 30 assists and Mariah Sellon tallied 46 digs.
Secora Schmidt led the Bulldogs with 19 kills, five blocks and three aces.
