Dragons Baseball awarded Share the Glove Grant

Erin Lauer wrote and submitted a grant for baseball equipment in April to the Northwoods League Foundation. Aaron Guerrero, with the Larks, called Lauer last week to tell her that the team was chosen for the grant.
Rural towns like McClusky are often co-oped with other school’s sports; and get swept up in the co-op name and lose their own school identity.
As the smaller of the two schools, they have fewer games to host in many sporting events.
However, this is not the case for the Dragons’ summer baseball program. The team is able to use their own town name and mascot.
