Coyotes and Flashes defeat Trojans

The Trojans slipped to one win and three losses after a 3-0 loss to the Grant County Coyotes Thursday night and a 3-1 loss to the Sawyer Flashes Tuesday night.
Mariah Sellon led the Trojans against the Flashes with 12 kills and six aces. Zoe Smalls dished out 29 assists.
Mara Roteliuk led the Flashes with eight blocks and six kills.
The Flashes took control the first set and led 10-4 after a kill from Sydnie Hedstrand.
The Trojans were not going to give up easy as a pair of kills from Sellon and an ace from Kylee Reiser; followed by a block from Tatum Fylling cut the Flashes’ lead to 17-13.
Zoe Smalls showed her skills serving up an ace. Then, after a net violation from the Flashes, she served up back-to-back aces to tie the set at 20.
Missed kills for both teams left the set tied at 23.
A block from Reiser tied the set at 24 and a missed kill from the Flashes gave the Trojans a 25-24 lead but an ace from Sydney Larson tied the set a 25. Then a Trojan missed
