Cougar gridders take on Tioga Friday

There’s no doubt what the goal is for the Central McLean Cougars this season.
"Make the playoffs."
"The playoffs, for sure."
"My goal is to make the playoffs, and then do well in the playoffs."
Those are three instant answers from three different players when asked what their goals were.
Senior Nick Dammen’s goal is a little more general, but he plans on being in the playoffs with his teammates, too.
"I want to be competitive every snap of the ball," said Dammen, a senior.
"We’ve put in a lot of hard work – none of us are really new," he added, which is a nice change for the Cougars after going through some growing pains the past couple years.
Kevin Dockter returns to the head coaching reigns after Kurt Ziebarth opted out of coaching when he accepted the Athletic Director position at Turtle Lake-Mercer.
