The Central McLean girls’ golf team travelled to Garrison last Friday in wet and rainy weather. The wind didn’t blow so the girls were thrilled to play despite the inclement weather. “I was very happy with the results of the meet,” stated head girls’ Coach Toni Cottingham. “Although the weather was cold and rainy, the girls played well. Junior Sam Cottingham shot a 93, earning medalist honors, while fellow junior Payton Koenig shot a 107 to place sixth.”
