Boys wins two Girls not so fortunate
BY TIM HANSON
The Trojans saw two double-header games last week that had the boys with two wins and the girls losing two.
On Tuesday night, the Garrison Troopers rolled into town for a district 10 match up.
Brooke Goven was the game’s high scorer with 17 points.
The Trojans took a 4-0 lead to start the game on buckets from Goven and Morgan Reiser but the Troopers tied the game at 6 and 8 and led 10-8 after a bucket from Ally Behles.
Reiser scored on a break at the 1:50 mark and a free throw from Sophie Sparrow at the 1:26 mark put the Trojans in front 11-10 at the end of one.
The defensive battle continued the second quarter with the teams trading buckets with the Troopers gaining two points on the Trojans to take a 21-21 lead at the break.
