Trojans third in Region

The Trojans defeated the Miners from Wilton/Wing 65-47 in the third place game of the Region 5 Tournament this past week. The Bismarck Shiloh Christian Skyhawks slipped past the Trojans 49-44 in the Region 5 semifinal game.
The Trojans 6’ 2” senior forward Seth Laframboise and 6’ 2” junior forward Trapper Jacobs were chosen for the 2018 All Region 5 team.
There were four players with unanimous selections. They were Laframboise and Jacobs, Nick Backman from Wilton/Wing and Jayce Archambault from Solen.
Other members of the team included Jonah Larson- Garrison; Tate Dickson- Wilton/Wing, Nolan Teigen- Washburn; and Evan Henke- New Salem/Almont; Riley Hodgkiss and Rhias Archambault from Standing Rock; and Jonas Mitzel and Macauley Young from Bismarck Shiloh Christian.
Region 5 Coach of the Year went to Brad Brekke from Wilton/Wing.
