Sunny day for MHS graduates
McClusky High School seniors graduated on a sunny Saturday afternoon on May 24.
The big event was held at 3:30 p.m. at the MHS gymnasium with family and friends attending the graduation of six MHS seniors.
The seniors were dressed in black gowns and mortars with a hot pink and red sash around their neck as class colors; pink roses were the class flower for the event.
Lucas Rath played "Pomp & Circumstance" on his guitar for the seniors’ processional with Weston Grade opening the program with a welcome. Kaleb Sease gave a prayer.
Kaytlin Werth, salutatorian, and Kady Rath, valedictorian, each gave speeches about their times spent with their classmates at the McClusky Public Schools and a look to the future.
The presentation of roses to special people in the graduate’s lives and their class video were shown.
