Smash adds apple flavor to fun

The committee to keep Smash in September in Goodrich is going to smash a few apples into tasty dishes for “tastes.”
During the September Smash on Sept. 24, Saturday, visitors may taste as many dishes as they wish, for fifty cents a taste; payable at the end of the line. The money goes into the general Smash fund, said advertising chair Marlene Richter.
Trish Mindt, who was the hit attraction “clown” last year adds that there are many local vendors lined up to whet shoppers’ appetites.
