Short meeting long on ideas

With four of five members on board for the December meeting of the McClusky Job Development Authority, the group started promptly at 7 p.m. and worked quickly through the agenda for less than an hour. President Roberta Hunt commented on the good reviews the Holiday and Pumpkin events had brought from the community, with Bear Country Deli and Gifts owner Todd Hicks telling her he was happy with the traffic flow through his business on Small Business Saturday, the other half of the reason to celebrate on November 28. He had offered cookies to visitors, with other businesses giving out hot cider, pumpkin snacks, cocoa, and candy treats. Some popcorn appeared by the bag as well. She was thankful for the help from the Teumer boys who filled in for Barb Teumer who was ill that day and one . . .
