Sheridan County SCD holds awards banquet
About 90 people attended the joint 2011 Sheridan County Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet and Sheridan Association Annual meeting on Dec. 7 at the McClusky Elementary School lunchroom. SCSCD Manager Darci Gahner and Sheridan County Extension Agent Emily Kline welcomed everyone to the banquet. The dinner was catered by The Union Grill and Bar and sponsored by North Country Bank of McClusky and Choice Financial Group of Goodrich.
Arthur Fratelli, “The Profes-sional Showoff,” was the entertainment. He balanced a lollipop on his nose, and a spoon before dropping it behind his ear.
With a volunteer on stage, he asked a person in the crowd for a card number. The volunteer on stage held a black box that contained a balloon animal with a card folded up inside that matched the audience member’s guess.
