Sheridan County Farmers Union gets life back

Wes Niederman, District 5 representative, spoke on the leadership of Sheridan County Farmers Union for the past year. “They got life back into Farmers Union in Sheridan County again. This is the most kids I have ever seen at meetings or conventions.”
Niederman also spoke on the successful “Rally for Ag” in June in Fargo. “We made the nightly news with the ‘We love biofuels’ sign and it was a great tool to get out to the state media.”
He noted that the corporate farming lawsuit against the ballot measure receiving 75 percent no, leaving the family farm corporations intact and keeping outside corporations from owning ag land. Farm Bureau sued the state of North Dakota and “the judge ruled for us. The law stays as it is.”
