Sheridan County Commssioners accept resignation, cancel mowing bill

A special meeting of the County Commissioners was held November 14 to discuss county workers, a FEMA bill, and to cancel an erroneous mowing bill. Commissioners Michael Axt, Eldon Ehrman, Howard Erdmann, and County Auditor Shirley Murray were present.
Commissioners discussed whether to accept county worker Rodney Lindsey’s resignation. Erdmann stated that Lindsey had telephoned him and said he wished to cancel his resignation. No other commissioners or County Highway Foreman Alvin Grosz was contacted by Lindsey so his resignation was unanimously accepted.
Lee Wahl, who had been the alternate job applicant for the previous vacancy, has been offered the job. He will start on January 1, 2015 at $14 an hour
