Sheridan County 4-H holds awards night and supper

Cynthia Dieterle. current Sheridan County 4-H Council president, hosted October annual award dinner and program at the McClusky Elementary lunchroom, opening with a welcome, followed by the 4-H Pledge by Bits & Bridles 4-H Club and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Clever Clovers 4-H Club. Mike Axt gave a prayer before the meal of chicken and strudels served by Shari Roth. Following the meal, awards were presented in the following areas. Cloverbuds: A 4-Her’s career can start at the age of five in kindergarten. From ages 5 to 7, they are called “Cloverbuds.” The primary difference between a 4-H Cloverbud and a 4-H member is that a Cloverbud engages in varied activities which focus on developing a specific skill instead of an ongoing project.
