Sheridan Communities honor veterans at three sites

Denhoff, Goodrich and Mc-Clusky communities and American Legion members and Legion Auxiliaries spent time in organizing and executing special ceremonies for their fallen comrades as well as those who still serve or returned as veterans.
On Memorial Day, May 30, Denhoff, in the midst of rain and wind, moved their honor ceremonies to the downwind side of the Denhoff Community Center to provide shelter for those participating as well as those who watched and listened.
Cemetery ceremonies were also moved at the other locations, due to wind, rain and water accumulations.
Goodrich inside services proceeded promptly at 10 a.m., with Commander Merwyn Krein and guest speaker Gerald Meske leading the way before the color guard and Legion members.
