"See Poverty, Be the Difference"
The Horizons Program extends an invitation to all who might be interested in hearing Dr. Donna Beegle present "See Poverty, Be the Difference." Dr. Beegle is an experienced national speaker and she will discuss her life experiences on March 31, at the Radisson Hotel in Fargo. Donna Beegle is the only member of her family that has not been incarcerated. After growing up in generational migrant labor poverty, leaving school for marriage at 15, having two children and continuing to cope with poverty, she found herself at age 25 with no husband, little education and no job skills. What followed was a gain in self confidence, many diplomas and degrees and a changed life.
