Nothing like tasty, flax infused pancakes and a choice of garlic or no garlic sausage to get people in the door for a brunch taste treat. After the smell of food cooking drew them off the streets, customers and visitors were able to enter drawings and shop specials throughout the store.
On Friday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holen’s Super Valu in McClusky had a free brunch with specials in grocery items the entire day.
The brunch featured Premium Gold Flax pancakes and Langdon Locker pork sausage. There were Braeburn Apples, one free one per customer and 99 cents a pound thereafter. The customers also enjoyed hot apple cider and coffee provided by Holen’s Super Valu.
A 22” flat screen television and two kitchen gift baskets encouraged people to get lucky with special tickets just of the drawings.
