Saueressig Farm Centennial celebration

“Farming communities are special because the connective tissue that binds them together is rooted in the understanding that there are no prohibitive barriers between friend, family, or neighbor. People may come and go, advancements in machinery and technique may unfold and fade out over time, and markets and weather patterns may impact the results from one year to the next, but the ideology never wavers: hard work, love for the land, love for your family, and commitment to your community are life.” Zach Saueressig
From June 22 through June 24 of 2018, relatives from eleven states and two Canadian provinces descend upon the McClusky community to celebrate four generations of family farming and the 100-year anniversary of Saueressig Farm.
