Santa Day held in McClusky
By ALLAN TINKER
The sounds of "Bingo," the sight of a jolly fat fellow dressed in red, and the smell of roast beef made the end of the afternoon and early evening special in McClusky on Dec. 10. The Bingo was held for elementary students after school in the school lunchroom, where the students battled numbers for a chance to win one of the prizes donated by the McClusky Merchants. There were approximately 40 kids for the Bingo games at the McClusky Elementary School. Jim Crimmins and Toby Kramer were Bingo callers. After the Bingo, at 5 p.m., Santa arrived to visit with the children and hand out goodie bags and approximately 40 kids were there to see Santa Claus. There was also an opportunity to have a photo taken if parents wished, as Rod Hill, photographer, was present with his ever-ready camera, ready to prompt a "cheese" smile from any somber face.
