Santa come to town

With a little help from the McClusky Merchants, Santa visited McClusky on Monday, Dec. 11.
Without his sleigh and reindeer in evidence, Santa’s first visit was to Sheridan County Memorial home. There Santa visited with the residents and posed for pictures.
Candy canes were given to each person and then Santa departed to spend some time with the little ones across the street at the elementary lunchroom.
He posed for pictures with over 50 "kids" – from little ones to the not-so-little ones.
As happens every year, a few of the littlest ones were afraid of the big bearded man in the red suit. But still these children received a goody bag from Santa filled with salted peanuts, sweets and Crackerjack.
