Pumpkins center of JDA meeting focus

The Heart Park will be the Pumpkin Festival location center for the photo backdrop for fun photos of family and friends as well as the judging area for the decorated pumpkins.
Time for all Pumpkin Festival activities is 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The prizes will be awarded at the Heart Park as well on October 17, about 12:30 p.m. or when the judging is complete. Any vendors or fundraiserbooths will be set up at the Heart Park as well. Vendors at the Heart Park should set up at 10 a.m. and other booths and pumpkin entries should be ready a half hour or more ahead of time. Free pumpkins were given away ahead of time until supplies depleted at Bentz Supply and Flyway 200, along with registration for the pumpkin
competitions at those locations as well. There are three categories for best decorated pumpkin in the adult and kids category. Ugliest and largest pumpkins will also be judged. Cash prizes in the form of merchant gift certificates and ribbons will be given to winners.
