Popular diner and bar for sale

A community and family value based business is looking for new owners. The Union restaurant and bar operation, now nearing the end of its fourteenth year, has been the center for many of the community’s events.
Owners Sherry Korus and Vonnie Erdmann have age-related health issues and “We just can’t work like we used to,” they say with wry smiles.
They have been open from 6:30 a.m. in the restaurant, to closing at 2 a.m. in the bar for most days of the year. They close for some holidays and try to support fundraiser meals in the community by closing for them as well.
The best things about the business they will miss when it is gone? “We got to see people, visit, and make people happy. They could stop for coffee, hold a meeting or celebrate a family event. It has been a lot of fun and great. We wanted to do this and we were well received.”
