Pool manager blessed; lifeguards found

Sue Ebach, Kathy Davis Memorial Pool Manager for 2019, stated at the May 21 regular meeting of the Park Board, “I have been blessed.” The blessing arrived with “found” lifeguards; a new one passing the lifeguard training, several who were willing to work full time as well as more than one part-time help volunteering to fill in where needed.
The next good news came from the cemetery report, with a “tumor has shrunk” report on Cemetery Caretaker Tammy Nordquist’s condition. She has completed her round of chemotherapy. She was worried about her job, which was not an issue at the moment with Tyler Krueger and volunteers picking up the slack in what needed to be done for Memorial weekend. Krueger and the others received a “thank you” for helping out from the park board members.
