Pool celebrates positive changes in operations

A quick review of the financial report at the July meeting of the Park District noted positive budget items in the early opening of the pool this year, lessons going well and fundraisers helping with operating money.
Pool Manager Sue Ebach thanked everyone for their support, for holding fundraisers and for helping in many other ways. A Splash Bash this past Thursday night was just another of the fun things happening at the pool.
The veterinary clinic plans a fundraising supper for the pool on the 30th of the month, from 5:30 to 6:30. Then, on July 26, a midnight swim with S’mores for a snack is planned by the pool.
There were 23 swimmers who took lessons; 21 took the test. Ebach added there were “oodles” of adults taking lessons from Shayna Crimmins.
