Physical Education enjoyed at McClusky Elementary
By ALLAN TINKER
Principal Dan Klemisch told the McClusky School board, at their Sept. 9 meeting on Tuesday, that the students appear to be enjoying physical education at the elementary school this year. He noted that they had been playing soccer and had learned the rules; the older students “love” Dodge ball, and that the little kids like to catch, pass and throw balls using “scoops.” Klemisch also noted that he, Supt. Gaillord Peltier and board member Heidi Strobel had met concerning the lunch service by the Music Boosters, FFA Alumni, and 4-H groups for the ballgames in the school. As fair a distribution of the serving nights were made as possible, with consideration that some nights were double-headers during the winter games.
