North Dakota teacher and author visits McClusky Elementary
Author Dr. Mary Ellen Erickson was at McClusky Elementary School signing books for Reading Month on May 2. She also visited with McClusky students, reading her books, talking and doing activities with them.
Erickson has been doing similar shows six times a years: three in the spring and three in the fall; and will also be in Anamoose during their celebration this summer.
According to her promotional information, “Variety is the spice of life.” And this is why she writes a variety of books for a variety of readers. Her motto is “Building a Better Society -One Book at a Time.”
Erickson is a life-long resident of North Dakota and a retired teacher/school counselor who spent the last 18 years of her career in the Carrington public schools. She is retired and lives on a farm in Foster County with her husband Dwayne.
