New business manager enjoying return to school

New business manager enjoying return to school

With a return to the school from which she left, just not too many years ago, Andrea Voegele is happy to see at least two familiar faces still among the teachers: Roberta Froehlich, Carol Abra-hamson, and Arlin Fylling. She thinks it was Fylling’s first year at McClusky when she graduated and left.
With people who “seem to be funny” and “jokesters,” Voegele is ready to be creative, have fun and do the bulletin boards, something she is looking forward to decorating. “I am a crafty person,” she smiled.
Voegele’s duties with finance are “okay” she says, “I like math.” Most of everything is on computers and it will be good. She views her strengths as being very personable and easy to get along with. “I hope I can be there when the kids need me and be an asset to the school. I have a sense of humor and I am fun,” she smiled.
She is also looking forward to the start of school and the students’ reaction to the Dragon décor and new paint. Her fiancé Jeremy Lauer is also starting work at McClusky in the school system, teaching second grade. They met at this school many years ago and “hung out together.”
Lauer graduated with Voegele’s sister Teresa and the couple now lives across the street from her sister Erin and her husband Brandon, who is Jeremy’s brother. It is truly a close family. The new house is the former “Hepper” house and she has been busy with both new job and a new house. She worked for a few months at the McClusky Co-op Elevator, and previously was the Health Information Management Coordinator (release of information) supervisor at MedCenter One, now Sanford Health.
