Minor and major May business matters
By ALLAN TINKER
Gaming permits, bank account signature change, signs for dumpground and dog and cat license changes were among the quicker and minor business on May 14 for the city of McClusky.
A gaming permit for a 50/50 drawing to help finance the school tour group headed by Brenda Potts was approved.
The city’s checking account signature cards seemed needed to be updated in case Houston is gone, but checks can be held until the meeting time as well.
A back-up drive for the computer was approved, with a portable hard drive, multiple terabyte capacity preferred. An online virus protection program was also approved. Also approved were a newer version of QuickBooks and Window 10.
