MHS Homecoming events
McClusky High School held its 2016 Homecoming Week Sept. 19-23. Coronation was on Monday afternoon. The candidates were Alex Naser, Skylar Simes, Connor Jerkovich, Tyler Jerkovich, Lane Rhoads, and Stefon Scheurer. Naser and Jerkovich were crowned queen and king.
On Monday for dress-up week was Meme Day, dress as an internet meme for high school students and Monster Day for elementary students. Tuesday was Pajama/Superhero Day. Wednesday, Walt Disney Day; Thursday, Throwback Day, dress as era time like the ‘20s, ‘30s;, and Friday is Spirit Day.
Bonfire is set for Wednesday in Underwood from 8 to 10 p.m.
In Turtle Lake on Friday all the students from three co-op schools (Underwood, Turtle Lake-Mercer and McClusky) will be decorating floats from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, lunch at noon, parade at 1 p.m., and pep rally at 1:45 p.m.
