Merchants consider corn-feed fall event

With a space of nothing doing in between Midsummer Fest and Halloween, the McClusky Merchants Association will look into possible small events, such as a corn feed.
In the past, corn became a hard to find product but they have "leads" so will consider this if a reliable source can be found. Details will emerge with the next meeting as to whether this will happen.
Midsummer Fest had successes and the bike run and the four-wheeler trek were well attended and set for a repeat next year. Other than a slow moving hotdog line that lasted and lasted and lasted, the park activities were well attended in the heat of the summer day.
