McClusky JDA selects day care options

The McClusky Job Devel-opment Authority met on Sept 24 for their regular meeting, with four of five members present. McClusky Mayor Theresa Jorgenson presented the appointment of Joey Belile (Bryon Belile, JR) for the vacated position of Jordan Froehlich. "He is young," she said, "and could have new ideas." She also noted that he is familiar with computers.
Belile was not present. Ja-son Parsons, JDA President Roberta Hunt, newly appointed Andrea Kluck and Jorgenson were the four members present.
The main topic was the daycare that is needed. An offer of a possible building on a lot on Main Street was made to the group for a secured term of lease. The group was pleased to have an option, according to Hunt.
The group then made plans to lease an unoccupied house on the north end of McClusky until the new structure could be built, hopefully by spring. Hunt contacted City Attorney Walter Lipp at his home to start the negotiations on the house for the daycare.
