McClusky FFA Chapter celebrates sixtieth year
Friday evening, April 8, was a special night for the McClusky FFA The Chapter celebrated its sixtieth year since starting in 1956.
The celebration was held at the McClusky High School gym. Approximately 175 people attended the awards banquet.
Burnell Bonnet, Allen Dockter and Ronnie Krueger were charter members attending, along with many of the former members from the past years.
The opening ceremonies were performed by McClusky FFA Chapter Officers, Dr. Poitra, McClusky Superintendent gave a welcome, and Michael Wolt the invocation.
The meal was prepared by Michael Axt, Shari Roth and Brandi Baker with roast beef, steamed potatoes, California blend vegetables, anniversary cake and coffee and juice.
After the meal, Nicolette Bitz of Napoleon, North Dakota FFA State Treasurer, brought greetings and congratulations from the State Association and spoke about how the small things you do in life leave a large impact on those around us.
Also former McClusky member and Wilton FFA Advisor Carissa Axt Steinert spoke about the legacy that is left by present and former members around the state through their participation and achievements in various FFA contests and activities.
