McClusky Farmers Market changes structure for new year

On April 18, the McClusky Farmers Market members met for their annual meeting, with six of their members present. They also heard from invited guest speaker Tracie Thompson, President of North Prairie Farmers Markets and a board member of North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association.
Among information gathered was the ability of farmers’ market members to sell to local groceries and provide them and their customers with fresh produce on days that the Farmers Market is not open.
She also noted that selling direct to restaurants also is allowed in Bismarck. First District Health may also allow this soon, she added.
