It was magic, tired from the day after Thanksgiving and full of leftovers to get them through last Friday’s work, JDA volunteer Christmas tree designers from many parts of
the community went to work with skill and imagination to get a chance at the prizes. By the end of Friday, trees were up and decorated and the city’s holiday decorations mounted high on the light poles had also been added to the scene. JDA President Roberta Hunt announced the winners: club/organizations (Rural Fire Department); Business (Holen Super Valu); Youth, first place, Clever Clovers 4-H, second place, McClusky Future Farmers America, and third place, Whirlybirds.
