Local professional injured in rollover

Brian Tinker, local businessman and certified public accountant, was severely injured in a rollover vehicle accident approximately nine miles north of McClusky. The accident happened shortly before noon on Wed., Nov. 17 and was just a few miles from his rural residence.
Tinker was transported by the McClusky Ambulance Service and they met the advanced life support unit out of Bismarck near Wilton, which transported him the rest of the distance.
Tinker was admitted to St. Alexius Hospital and underwent surgery; he was later held in ICU and then transferred to the surgical unit. He will undergo extensive rehab therapy before his discharge.
Tinker is the current McClusky Lions President; the Local Secretary (president) of North Dakota Mensa Society; the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the North Dakota State Society of CPAs, and serves with several other entities in various positions, including the Sheridan County Resource Center, which tries to promote economic development and community resource exchanges.
