Local Farm Bureau serves hotdogs

North Dakota Farm Bureau Week was held March 8-14. Many events were held throughout the state to celebrate NDFB Week.
A drawing contest was held for fourth and fifth grade students and they were asked to draw North Dakota agriculture.
More than 300 entrees were submitted for the contest. Fourth grade winner is Isabella Ferderer from Gwinner N.D. Fifth grade winner is Hanna Wieland from Dazey, N.D. Both students will receive $50.
Main dish recipes from around the state were submitted and NaTanya Olson from Forbes N.D. had her name drawn for $100 in groceries. NaTanya submitted her hamburger hotdish recipe that includes salsa, sour cream and cheese. The recipe can be found at www.ndfb.org.
County Farm Bureaus throughout the state showcased the role North Dakota Farm Bureau plays in the growth and success of agriculture in the state of North Dakota. County Farm Bureaus hosted ag trivia contests, sponsored the Farmland movie, held essay contests and made their presence in the community.
