The Sheridan County 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging team attended their first state contest June 5, in Fargo.
Sheridan County Extension Agent Emily Kline stated, “The team put in a lot of hard work and preparation for the event. They attended workouts at the courthouse, as well as two field trips to Dri-Land Dairy near New Salem.”
The team members were Alex Naser, second place, Ryeleigh Laib, fourth place Shelby Faul, eleventh place, place and Kaitlyn Haux, twelfth place. The team earned second place at the state contest with coaches Emily Kline and Nathan Boehm. Line added, “The coaches are very proud them and deserve a big congratulations to the team!”
