Lauer Power in action

After the battle with cancer reached the all-clear level, a twice-planned, once-held benefit for Erin Lauer took place at Bertsie’s Drive-In on October 25. COVID precautions
changed location and manner of sales. Erin and Brandon reported, “We had 114 items for the auction and served just over 100 people on Sunday. Most everyone took meals to go.”
The food was served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. by William Voegele, Alberta Voegele, Jeremy Lauer, Andrea Lauer, Shannon Lauer, Amanda Lauer, Jayce Lauer, Braden Lauer,
Daphne Lauer, Brooklyn Lauer, Teresa Naser, Kaleigh Naser and Braden Brown. Bertsie’s donated the food, which included pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, dessert and beverage.
